HeartCare Logo

HeartCare is the combination of two tests, AlloMap® and AlloSure®, that help your doctor surveil the health of your new heart.

AlloMap HEART Logo

AlloMap measures the levels of 20 genes in your blood in order to determine if you are at a low risk for rejecting your new heart.

Since its introduction in 2005, AlloMap has helped nearly 30,000 patients to reduce their pain, anxiety, and risk caused by biopsies.

AlloSure HEART Logo

AlloSure measures a biomarker in your blood called donor-derived cell-free DNA (dd-cfDNA). When dd-cfDNA increases, it provides your doctor with an early warning sign that there could be an issue with your heart.

The combination of the two tests provides a more accurate picture of your heart’s health than either test alone.

An at-home blood draw service that helps make it easier for you to stay on track with your routine transplant testing.

  • Get AlloMap, AlloSure, and a list of routine tests done right at home.
  • CareDx covers the cost of the mobile phlebotomist.
Includes a routine panel of transplant labs

HeartCare Insurance Information

AlloMap is covered for the majority of insured patients, including patients with Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and most private health plans. AlloSure® Heart is covered by Medicare when used in conjunction with AlloMap® in patients at least 55 days post-transplant in conjunction with standard clinical assessment.

The CareDx Reimbursement Team can handle billing your primary and if applicable, secondary insurance. You may receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statement from your health insurer. This is not a bill. If you have questions regarding your EOB, please contact the CareDx Reimbursement Team. For those patients who are uninsured, under-insured, or have insurance that does not cover the cost of AlloSure testing, CareDx offers a Financial Assistance Plan.
