The Transplant Pharmacy: What We Do

We work closely with your prescribers to help manage all prescribed medications pre- and post-transplant, including discharge medications, immunosuppressants, maintenance medications, and all other supplemental medication.

What sets us apart from other pharmacies:

  • Each patient has a dedicated care team that includes a licensed pharmacist and certified pharmacy technician who are familiar with a patient’s history and provide personalized attention while responding quickly to a patient’s needs.
  • A pharmacist or pharmacy technician answers all inquiries during business hours.
  • Staff can assist prescribers/patients with benefits and authorizations.
  • Pharmacists’ comprehensive knowledge of transplant medications is unparalleled. They keep track of any changes in dosage and notify patients promptly.
  • Patients can choose to receive reminder calls, texts or emails about refills, in advance of the refill date.
  • Orders are typically filled on the same day they are received.

Personalized Care with Your Own Patient Care Team

We are committed to personalized care at The Transplant Pharmacy. We accomplish this by assigning you to your own pharmacy coordinator and pharmacist – your official TTP Patient Care Team – ensuring you receive consistent, personalized service.

Do We Accept Your Insurance?

We accept most major insurance carriers (private insurances, private insurances, Medicare, and some Medicaid plans). Some manufacturer coupons and copay assistance cards are accepted where applicable and are subject to terms and conditions outlined by the manufacturer. Since transplant medication regimens can often be costly, we coordinate benefits to minimize your out-of-pocket costs.
